Liao Zhang

Liao Zhang, associate professor and supervisor of Master students. He graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in June 2013 with a Ph.D. in economics. His main research areas including regional economic development and industrial economic transformation and upgrading. He lectures on courses such as Western Economics, Industrial Economics, and Management Economics. he has hosted one project supported by Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of Ministry of Education, one project supported by Zhejiang Soft Science Foundation, one general project supported by Zhejiang Education Department, one general project supported by Hangzhou Social Science Planning Foundation, one project supported by Zhejiang Provincial Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base and one project supported by HDU Research Program. In the meantime he participated in projects supported by National Social Science Foundation, the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project of the Ministry of Education, and the Social Science Planning of Zhejiang Province. He has published a monograph in the first-class Press “Economic Science”, 2 papers in first-level publications International Trade Issues and Economist, and published 13 papers in CSSCI such as Contemporary Economic Science, China's Population Resources and Environment, and Contemporary Finance.
